Casino and Fundraising
Over the years, Lendrum has been very fortunate to make the list to be given casino dates. It's an important event, because the casino's winnings provide valuable funds (approximately $80,000) which assist in the operation of our community league.
It's an opportunity to raise a lot of money for the time invested!
Lendrum volunteers run the casino alongside Casino staff. No experience is necessary; training as well as a free meal during your shift is provided. Positions include: cashiers, chip runners, general managers, bankers, and count room staff. We usually need about 50 volunteers to cover all the shifts assigned to us. This is a great way to meet some of your neighbours, spend time with friends, and help the Community League with its biggest fundraising event.
