March 18th: Community Conversation: Transit Camp 2023

Building People Power for Better Public Transit: A Community Summit on building safer, more frequent and better public transit. Join guest speakers, and authors, for a day of learning and discussion. We'll have an update on Edmonton Transit changes in 2023, hear about national trends in transit, and brainstorm together how we can champion safe, fast, and frequent mobility for everyone!

So far over 200 have registered for  the Transit Camp. They hope to reach over 500. It is a bit of a unique concept, so this article helps explain the event and intention.

I realize asking folks to come together for a full day on a Saturday is quite the ask, but it includes coffee & lunch and the speakers are fantastic. We know there are many challenges, but coming together as a community is our first step to solving them.
